Aims and scope
Journal of Wetlands & Waste Management (JWWM) is published by Centre for Wetlands and Waste Management Studies (CWWMS), University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria.
The purpose of the Journal is to publish papers on all aspects of wetlands and waste management. The focus is to bring to the science, academic and policy-making communities and the reading public empirical information on current scientific breakthroughs, discoveries, technologies, policies on wetlands and waste management.
This is to contribute to the search for the solutions to the problems of degradation of wetlands, and mounting waste challenges in wetlands and terrestrial environments.
Towards this goal, the Journal accepts original articles on research, innovative practices, new technologies, wetlands biodiversity, environmental change, wise use, conservation, present and future trends, and the economic, social, political and philosophical aspects of wetlands and waste management. For healthy scholarly debates and development of knowledge, rejoinders/reactions to papers published in the Journal are also accepted.
