POOR ATTITUDE TO WORK, LATENESS AND IRREGULARITY IN OFFICE

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Uyo, Professor Nyaudoh U, Ndaeyo welcomes all staff of the University Community to the new year, 2022 and wishes everyone good health and success in their endeavours.

The University Management has observed with dismay that despite several warnings, staff still report late to work, close before the official closing time and exhibit poor attitude to work.

Management frowns at these unwelcome attitudes and has decided that henceforth, any member of the staff caught reporting late, closing before official closing time and/or exhibiting poor attitude to work will face appropriate sanction ( S ) including suspension from duty with its attendant implications.

Staff movements outside the workplace within official hours should be properly documented in the Movement Register

All staff are hereby reminded that henceforth, any staff with two ( 2 ) or more queries on lateness and attitude to work will face appropriate sanction in accordance with the provisions in University of Uyo  Regulations Governing Staff Conditions of Service ( 2016 ) as amended.
