About the Department
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Admission into B.Eng. (Civil Engineering) programme is Through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Candidates are required to satisfy both the University and the Department/Faculty requirements.
UME REQUIREMENTS:
Five ‘O’ level credits to include Chemistry, English, Mathematics and Physics in not more than two sittings.
DIRECT ENTRY:
Candidates seeking admission into the Department of Direct Entry, should posses in addition to UME requirements one of the following:
(i) GCE at Advanced level in not less than two papers including physics and mathematics;
(ii) OND at Low credit level;
(iii) HND at Lower credit level. Holders of HND at upper credit level and above in civil engineering may be considered for admission into the 300 level of the programme.
All candidates (UME and Direct Entry) are also required to pass the APTITUDE TEST of the University before being admitted.
